Looking Up

Yesterday the afternoon weather was perfect - in the 70s, with the sun warm on my skin, and a light breeze that made me look up at the rustling leaves.

  1. This is one of the best shots of this type that i have seen. Many things we come across while walking about strike us in a way that makes us want to capture it with camera, but not too many of them hold the appeal very well once caught as they did while we were there. This perspective of looking up at a tree is one that is not nearly as easy to pull off as it may appear. This image captures the dynamic lighting and perspective, sharpness and twisting of perfectly silhouetted branches that all come together to make this one tops.
    Excellent shot, Victoria.

  3. Whoa! This is almost unreal looking. What fantastic colors, and that little patch of light on the trunk.. the sky. Everything is perfect!

I totally agree with Gary :)

  5. Absolutely beautiful! The tree branches look like a sculpture, I love the contrast =).
