Cow Skull

We came across this cow skull on the side of one of the dirt roads we take through the mountains to scout for deer.  I've just added this to my Wyoming Collection of photos on my main Web site.

  1. Very impressive photography! Being an animal lover, I was slightly repulsed at the sight of the cow skull, but this is reality....and I admire realistic portrayals of life through any medium of art. Good job, keep it up!

  2. Thank you. No rancher wants his animals perish under his care, for several reasons. But sometimes, they get lost in a snowstorm and can't be found, or break a leg in a prarie dog hole and go missing. It is sad, but like you said, it's reality. Other animals end up benefiting from this loss, so this way, at least, it isn't a waste.
