I am afraid all that wild comes with a price. We had quite a tick problem last year, and I can't have them crawling around in my house (the dogs bring them in). Keeping the grass low helps.
On a happy note, they do seem to spring up again quickl after being cut. They are never gone for long, especially the violets. I'll share some photos of those soon- they are my favorite.
What a great shot! I imagine running through this yard barefoot and picking the dandelions and purple ones. Oh to have grass like that, but alas, in South Texas all we have that keeps green are the weeds...although they can be just as beautiful!
Well, I hate to tell you it is all a bit crunchy right now. We have been in need of rain, too, like so much of the country. But it was pretty while it lasted!
I try to find beauty in the everyday, primarily through my photography, which I share here. I also try to keep my brain thinking creatively every day, even if the rest of me is not in the mood, so the posts here are as much for me as they are for you.
