Cooper River Cold

It may be hard to believe, but it was frigid in South Carolina for two days.  I took this the day before I left, and my hands started to hurt from the cold.  The closer you are to the water, the colder it gets, usually.  The humidity has a way of getting your bones cold, so that even just at freezing, it can feel as cold as 10 degrees in a drier climate.  Burrrrr, I am shivering just thinking about it.  This is the beautiful Cooper River, not far from where my parents live.  I loved how the clouds were forming, dense and puffy, and I raced to the banks to get this shot.  What a beautiful place.
