Here's one last shot from the 40th Street Bridge, looking out over the rooftops of Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh, PA.

I really went out in the snow to try and get a shot of the city of Pittsburgh blanketed with snow. This is Lawrenceville in the foreground and you can see The Church Brew Works in the distance. I loved the pop of green these trucking containers provided in the front of the shot and the layers of red and green the buildings made on the way up to the snowy sky.

Here is another shot from atop the 40th Street Bridge from last weekend. I trudged through a foot and a half of snow and ice that had built up in the walkways along the side, but as you can see, it was like that everywhere. It has been warming up the past few days and melting off, but I think everything will be covered again soon.

Today it snowed and snowed and snowed but it was really beautiful and I just couldn't stay indoors. I ventured out into the city with my camera and had fun seeing this couple walking their dogs. They had just come off a trail, and the dog on the right decided to roll around in the snow and make a doggie snow angel. The other dog got lifted up and carried over the train tracks, and shortly after I snapped this, the couple pulled out their phone to take photos of their own. It was so nice to see the dogs romping around and to see other folks getting outside despite the cold, wet weather.
