I've been taking portraits of my daughter in her favorite costumes. Here, she is being Moana, and we took it this summer on the Isle of Palms. Bless her heart, she got up to see the sun rise with her Grammy and me at 5:30 in the morning. She walked all the way down to the pier, running at times toward the rising sun, and alternately looking for seashells. Then she tolerated about 15 minutes of this portrait session before she called it. I needed a nap later that day but she never did!
I love this one from a different day, but even at 8 a.m. the light is so inferior.
